The U.S. Route 460 Corridor Improvements Project includes development and operation of a new Route 460 to include 55 miles of greenfield construction. VDOT is pursuing this project under the Public-Private Transportation Act of 1995 as amended (PPTA).
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) sponsored a virtual meeting (industry briefing) to provide an overview of the proposed Route 460 Corridor Improvements Project. The industry briefing was held on July 20, 2010 from 11:00am to 1:00pm Eastern Standard Time. The program consisted of key project information and key changes in the current procurement, along with a question and answer period. Speakers included the Deputy Secretary of Transportation, David Tyeryar, VDOT’s Transportation Commissioner, Gregory A. Whirley, and others.
VDOT will host proprietary meetings regarding the project with firms or teams interested in initiating a more detailed discussion with VDOT. Proprietary meetings will be held between July 20 and 23, 2010 on a first come, first serve basis.
Those firms or teams interested in such discussions should register using the Proprietary Meeting Registration Form below.
All inquiries regarding the industry briefing meeting and proprietary meetings should be directed to the Virginia Department of Transportation’s Point of Contact.
